The Reader’s Post

Filed under: Think Mauritius — jeyoung at 8:00 am on Tuesday, August 8, 2006

Writing this inaugural post is proving extremely difficult. Let alone writer’s block in front of a blank site, the difficulty is finding a suitable topic that will set the correct tone for future posts to come. So, to avoid making a blunder of this honourable invitation to author the first post on Think Mauritius and marginalising a fraction of the potential readership with a one-sided subject, I will turn the table and make this the reader’s post.

I want to do this by posing a simple question: What would you want to see on Think Mauritius?

The About page already describes the purpose of the site, that of providing a publishing platform for writers with opinions and views to share about Mauritius. But, here we want your honest answers to know what we should concentrate our efforts on. Please share your thoughts with us, either by leaving a comment or by emailing us at tips@thinkmauritius.com.

And also, welcome to Think Mauritius.

I would like to see more posts from bloggers still living in Mauritius. It would be nice to have the opinions of those who are directly affected by economic/political decisions made by the Mauritian government.
